Our latest event, "Shop and Pamper to Help a Camper," at Equilibrium Pilates, was a great success. Thanks to Nancy and Equilibrium, and to all the volunteers, including the wonderful Kohl's team, who do such good work.

Camp Casey's Mission is to provide a horse retreat for children with cancer and their families. Camp Casey seeks to empower youth through adventures with horses, other children, and their families. Camp Casey hopes to provide the courage and strength for children to take back and apply to their fight against cancer.

Where Are We Located?
Everywhere! As a traveling retreat, Camp Casey caters to children seeking treatment from cancer centers throughout Michigan. Our program is made possible due to generous barn owners willing to “give up” their property and kid-friendly horses. Hosting a camp is fun, easy and allows families to forget about cancer! You provide the land and horses, and let Camp Casey do the rest!

How Are We Funded?
One hundred percent of all donations go directly toward providing an expense free day for the children and families, and are used to grow the organization. In the few years since it has been established, Camp Casey has grown leaps and bounds! We are dependent on, and entirely funded by, contributions from you. Click here to learn how you can become a Horse Shoe Sponsor and give back to your community.

Note From the Founder
My most profound thanks to you for taking interest in Camp Casey! It is my biggest passion and I am certain that you will learn to love it as much as I do! It is strange to think that only four years ago, while attending Michigan State University, I started Camp Casey with the intent of it being a one time gig!

Now, with a Camp Casey site next to nearly every Michigan cancer center, it has truly grown leaps and bounds and taken my own life in a new (and wonderful) direction. Please use this site as tool to learn more about our program and how you can get involved! With your help, we can realize Camp Casey’s potential and expand our program to children nationwide!

 Sincerely,
